Terms of Trade
Papercrane Design Limited - November 2024
Thank you for enquiring about my design services.
I will work with you to create a visually designed framework for your product or service. We start the design process with a meeting to collate references and assets and establish a design direction before I proceed.
On final sign-off, all files are prepped for print. Final files will be supplied back to you for reference and to keep on file.
The following liability disclaimer and terms and conditions outline the agreement between Lisa Rushworth on behalf of Papercrane Design Ltd and clients commissioning graphic design and creative work.
By engaging our services and approving a proposal, clients agree to the following terms:
2 ]. Payment Terms: Upon acceptance of the costing, a 50% deposit of the full amount is required before work commences. An invoice will be issued and payment of the deposit is acceptance of these terms. This confirms both our commitment to the project. A meeting time is also confirmed a timeframe for first visuals is confirmed.
The remaining 50% of the cost is issued at completion of project and before final files are supplied to you.*
3 ]. Project management: If there are client delays of more than 2 weeks to review designs or provide text and image content, we would halt any further work on the project and client will be billed for work done to date. Supplied costing/quotes are valid for 30 days from issue date
Any adjustments or additions to what has already been costed will be approached on a quote by quote basis for each change or addition. For example, if the scope of one of the itemised prices increases, we will clearly outline the additional cost before this work
is commenced.
4 ]. Accuracy of Information: The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the project. Papercrane Design Ltd is not liable for any errors or omissions resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
5]. Design Approval: The client is required to review and approve all designs and files before final production. Once approved, Papercrane Design Ltd is not responsible for any errors, including but not limited to, grammatical errors, typographical errors, incorrect information, design flaws or production artwork errors that were present in the approved files.
